Beyond The Frame May 16, 2024–May 23, 2024 Saddleback Art Gallery Mission Viejo, CA

In 2024, Sterling served as curator for Beyond The Frame, on view at Saddleback Gallery from May 16, 2024–May 23, 2024. In collaboration with seventeen emerging artists working across diverse mediums and practices, the spring capstone exhibition highlighted the works’ unified visual plane while emphasizing each artist’s distinct approach to painting, drawing, and ceramics.

Working closely with Professor Holmes in her Curatorial Practicum course, she assisted with additional research and administration throughout the planning and installation process.
