She conducted independent research under the guidance of Dr. Jeremy Gladstein at the Getty Research Institute, examining the archives of Experiments in Art and Technology (E.A.T.), forming the foundation for her paper The Pepsi Pavilion: Art, Technology, and the Neo-Avant-Garde, 1968–1970.

Experiments in Art and Technology (E.A.T.) conceived and built the Pepsi Pavilion for Expo ’70 in Osaka, Japan.
